Who We Are
Maria Eliades is the founder and executive producer of Pentelic Productions.
Her work brings together storytelling and strategic communications, with a focus on helping individuals and organizations translate complex ideas into narratives that change the way people think. She has designed and produced content across formats, from podcasts and live interviews to digital and editorial work, and has always emphasized clarity, thoughtful design, and emotional connection.
Maria previously produced and co-hosted the award-winning podcast Voices of Exchange at the U.S. Department of State, where she contributed to global storytelling initiatives. Her broader experience includes digital communications and marketing work with organizations such as Turkish Airlines and the Turkish Ministry of Culture, as well as writing and editorial contributions to The Times Literary Supplement, PRI’s The World, EurasiaNet, and Time Out Istanbul.
She has also worked as an educator, contributing to curriculum redesign and teaching at Boğaziçi University. She holds a master’s degree in Modern Greek and Turkish Studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in English Literature from Drew University.
Currently, Maria is a Podcast Incubator Fellow at Stony Brook University, an audio engineer and social media specialist at Cosmos FM, New York’s bilingual Greek-English public radio station, and the host and producer for the forthcoming Pentelic Productions podcast, “Our Pandora’s Box.”
Through Pentelic Productions, Maria brings this work together into a focused practice: helping clients clarify their ideas, establishing strong reputations with audiences, and creating the unusual and unexpected.
